Raqay
I agree this music is fantastic. I have had the humbling pleasure of sitting in on a percussion class with this most fantastic lady and she is very down to earth, easy to talk to and understand , a good teacher and the cavemen are charming. Add this music to your library....it is timeless. - Marijahne , posted 06/28/07

Great CD
Based on what I've heard of Raquy and the Cavemen (I picked up a copy of "Jordan" not long ago and to me it is reminescent of Boiled in Lead, whom I love!) I'll give this unheard disc a 4! - Sha' Vega , posted 06/25/07

Raquy Rocks!
Although I plan on a review, I'll give the "aside" first. I and my wife went to a hafla to see Dalia Carella perform. She utilized two peices of music for her performance, and they were both excellent. When I talked to Dalia after the show, she gave me the name "Raquy and the Cavemen." I'd seen them flitting about with ads on Tribe.net, so I was vaguely faamiliar with them, but, now I was really impressed.
I went to the website and purchased their new CD, "Naked," in which they have a peice called "Dalia" specifically for Mme. Carella. They also have one written for Jehan. Though a ccompletely percussive disc, Raquy and her fellow musician Liron are virtuosos. I highly recommend this album to anyone interested in the Middle Eastern music genre, or are avid percussionists. Everyone else must dance! - Radu , posted 05/19/07
