Hey, for those of you who know me, thank you for supporting a local artist cooperative. Yeah, you got it, it's your favorite weirdo(s) from one of the many night clubs in Dallas that approached you with an e-mail list and a dream. It's finally a possibility, but we need everyone's help to make the local arts club a concrete reality! Sorry for the delay. I know I told you that I'd be e-mailing everyone last week, but I've held off for a much better idea - still working on getting local artists, performers, and musicians/bands together, volunteers are investigating options for the first event, which looks like it might be in May, but that might not be enough time to pull things together for you. We want you to be lost in the experience. So what are we doing, and why can't this guy spell? Without waisting too much of your time, let's say that if the first event goes well...it could be the party to look forward to each month (switching out local band, artists, etc. monthly - still on the drawing board) and possibly at your favorite club. Based on a voting system (need help setting up a message board), the most popular choice will be taken to that club's manager for approval. It's you that will make this dream a reality. For those who aren't fire spinners but would like to get on the Dallas list, send an e-mail to chrs_frt@yahoo.com. Any and all local Dallas bands, performers, or artists welcome to participate. It's for you that we're building a home to show everyone your design/perspective, it's what you got and what it takes to be heard. I'm meeting with a booking agency tonight; could be setting up a fire performance in Dallas. Don't know what the F I'm doing. Need help. Hey man...not that kind of help.
