If you have not learned yet, stay away from taking your car or truck to a car dealership to get something worked on.... Yes, they mark everything up at least 200% from what it actually costs to get the repair done someplace else. The only way I every take my vehicles to a dealership is when I ahve an Extended Warranty and I reccomend you getting one of those if you buy a new car. I ahve been taking my car to Joe's Auto Repair in Garland. He is located on Shepard St just South off Forest Lane, just East of Plano Rd. He is right across from WIlson Plywood and Doors. The owner's name is Jeff. Tell him I sent you. He is a one man show and works on everything from a riding lawn mower to Diesel Trucks. He rates are baed on the minimum it takes to get the job done and he is straight with you on if you need something or not...
