No matter how you count it... UG is another year old... or soon to be.
*Sahira began classes for 'Houston Tribal' in April 2003....free and open to all and any who were interested in the format.
*Auditions were in late May/Early June...
** Founding members Sahira, Julie, Reetu & Z.
*** And Kat, Rita & Paula became Gypsy Sister...

We then played around w/ names... and became Urban Gypsy.
Our debut performance was on July 26th, 2003!
So whenever you want to call us "born".... I think it is comingat us soon.... let's hear it for 6 years... WOW... what a ride it's been!
Looks like (our monthly 2nd Tuesday show ) August 11 - will be our Anniversary Showdown Throwdown!
It's going to be a dooozy of a time.... Mark your calandars now!
